Im a 16 year old that just got her license, and I want a new beetle as my first car. Somewhere around 5K or so and not too new (since insurance is usually higher on new cars). I’ve heard that vw has really bad reviews on their jettas and beetles. I’d appreciate some feedback on these cars, and what year they were good to buy.

would the instructor grade you easily than you take the test in summer because of the road condition?
what are some tips to drive during the winter and with snow?
what if its snow in the test day? would it still be fine?

In winter I have to drive at 7 in the morning, and my car is freezing when I get in. Do you have any tips for keeping it warmer? For example, could I put a steering wheel cover on so my hands don’t freeze? Parking in a garage is not an option for me.

My dad currently has 2003 300M and has decided it is time to get a new car. He is interested in the 2007 300 Touring but we have read some negative reviews about it. He won’t go for the Japanese cars because he can’t get deals on them like the American cars possibly among other reasons. I mentioned the Buick Lucerne which is slightly on the expensive side to him but I had given him the talk of the Buicks being for old people for him to get the 300M over the LeSabre. Any suggestions on what to get where wecan get good deals and a reasonable price? Thanks
He is trading the car in….and it has to be a sedan with ok mileage(V6)
