Is a Civic Sadan a good car to get for a new driver?

7th July, 2010 | Posted by admin |
What cars do you recommend?

Im getting my G2 soon and my parents are buying me a car so i can choose anyone except the price range like the Acura car.. and i mean the New model not some old used car lol

and i did ask a question earlier about getting a Ford Focus but everyone said it wasn’t reliable and based on the reviews Ford has in the past their new car doesn’t sound too promising.. my mom was the one that suggested getting a Ford focus. but after browsing online on the Civic Sadan (honda owned) im really liking it plus alot of people said Honda is a great car company and it has great history of reliability.
whats wrong with a civic sadan its still owned by HONDA lol!
I can afford a better car then the honda civic though.. which is why i dont want to settle for that. I want a new model of the Honda car
@ Ahak the Civic sadan is the new version for Honda.. the ones you listed were old
This is what it looks like

im not getting a coupe cause i want to be able to fit more then one person in the car.. plus for long trips or get aways i like to be able to have room for suit cases and stuff.

Im only 18 tho but i still want a car with room
Brinna thats so cool your in the same situation as me, at least im not alone haha! and definitly keep in touch! ya i wanted to get a civic sadan now origonally i was leaning towarsd a ford focus but im still undecided! did you go test driving yet with the cars? i havent yet but will once i get my g2 haha

Looking to buy new car, can’t decide on which is best?

13th June, 2010 | Posted by admin |
About to graduate, and getting an “almost new” car. I have a list of cars that I’m trying to decide between…Civic Si (coupe or sedan), Acura RSX Type S, Nissan 350Z, Audi TT, Scion TC, and Chevy Cobalt. The 1st three are my top choices. My parents are afraid to help me buy an Acura because they fear high maintenance charges that Acura will charge, like BMW and Mercedes, but I am not sure if this is the same with Acura. I need some real help, with hard facts, and not just opinions. I’m taking into consideration: gas mileage, insurance cost, reliability, performance, and appearance. I’ve been to all of the review websites, but I seem to need more help.

New Car Sales Contract – California?

20th May, 2010 | Posted by admin |
My husband and I purchased a new car on September 5th in California. We’ve had several problems with the dealership since that time, mostly having to do with an unprofessional staff. Yesterday, however, the dealership’s service department damaged our new car while it was in their possession. It now has a nice sized dent and scratches from a white car door hitting it.

The dealership has asked us to come in tomorrow to sign a new contract because they say they were able to find us a lower interest rate. They’ve also agreed to repair the damage to our car. At this point, we’d really like to give the car back and have nothing more to do with them.

We understand that our “Retail Installment Sale Contract” includes a “Seller Right to Cancel” which allows the dealership to cancel the contract within ten days and ask us to return the car. Because today is the tenth day, we wanted to go to the dealership later this afternoon to review the new contract and essentially refuse to sign it. We know we have the right to do this. However, we’re not sure if the dealership would cancel the existing contract as a result and ask us to return the new car. This is what we’re hoping will happen. (We’d also like to receive the two cars we traded in back).

When a dealership is listed on the contract as the “Creditor-Seller,” is it very likely that they will want to cancel the contract within the period of time they’re allowed to do so?
I never said that we wanted to cancel the contract. We obviously don’t have the ability to do this. We’d like to know the likelihood of a dealership cancelling the existing contract if we refuse to sign a new one.
Thanks for the info, FRK. My other comments pertained to some idiot’s response.
