For Woman car buyers
How to buy a car
Most women feel threaten and intimidated when it comes to negotiating a car deal, and rightfully so. It used to be considered a man thing, to negotiate a deal or even just to take the car for service.
Good ne
ws! this is all a thing of the past. There is no reason with the internet at our finger tip, that a woman should not be well informed when it comes to purchasing a vehicle, even when making a maintenance decision. A lot of dealerships realized just that and started adding more and more woman to their sales and maintenance staff.
Research the Internet
Decide what kind of Make and Model, features, options you want before even going to the dealership. Do not let theme tell you what you need. Research the price with different dealers but with the same options. Know what the manufacturer's rebates are. Do not share the trade info or the way you want to finance until you have negotiated the price.
Get Preapproved
If you have to finance the car (like most of us), get your own financing. Start with your bank where you have your account, you may get a better deal from them. Check with a few lenders before you settle on the best deal.
Know your Credit Score
To get the best interest rate, you need to know your credit score, because your rate depends on it.
Get a Insurance Quote
Before making the final buying decision, check with your insurance company. Get a Quote, because some sporty cars, or some models are more often stolen and have a higher insurance rate.
